The company’s main strength is its constant, almost obsessive on-site presence, in personal contact with both client and architect/designer, from the first contact in the planning stages, to the completion of the work when the contract is fulfilled in the best possible way.

Further, we have our own internal design office which manages the paperwork necessary for the correct completion of each project.

COMPANY HISTORY

The company’s founder, Claudio Porta, comes from a family steeped in the traditions of the region. His father and grandfather before him worked building the stone roofs for which the region is famous, transmitting their knowledge to their descendants. Porta himself started his career in building construction in Canton Ticino in 1981. He gained his Swiss Federal Diploma from the Centro di Formazione Professionale SSIC in Gordola in 1991, and established Impresa Porta in the Vigezzo mountains in Italy in 1993. Today, he manages the company in partnership with the new generation, his two sons, Danny and Andrè.
